Practitioner Attestation Pathway
How a licensed practitioner records their attestation in CoralLedger Comply, and what the platform does and does not do.
What the attestation is
Before a practitioner acts as the practitioner of record for a client, CoralLedger Comply records their attestation: who they are, the client they are acting for, and the date. The attestation is stored as a durable, timestamped record and is visible on the client’s own file.
What the platform records
CoralLedger Comply records what it can observe: the practitioner’s self-declared standing, the client they are attesting for, the actor and the timestamp. The platform does not verify a practitioner’s licence against any registry, and every surface that shows an attestation says so.
How it works

The practitioner enters their details and the basis on which they act.

They confirm the client they are acting for.

CoralLedger Comply records the attestation and shows it on the client’s file, with the date and the fact that it is self-declared.

Reserved actions, including approving a return for filing, show the acting practitioner and the client at the moment of the act.
What this is not
An attestation recorded in CoralLedger Comply is a record of what the practitioner declared, not a verification of it, and not a determination by any authority. The practitioner remains responsible for their own standing and for the accuracy of every return they approve.
